About these terms

These terms apply to the cardflare.gg website, cardflare accounts, and the invite requests stores and vendors send us. The mobile app is the same product and the same terms.

What cardflare is

cardflare is a discovery and coordination tool. It helps players at the same physical event find out who has the cards they are looking for, and helps them arrange to meet in person.

cardflare is not a marketplace, an escrow service, a payment processor, a shipping service, or a card grading or pricing service. We are not a party to any trade.

Trades are between players

Every trade arranged through cardflare is between the players involved. We do not verify, guarantee or insure:

• That a card is authentic or not counterfeit.
• That a card is in the condition described.
• That a trade is fair, or that either card is worth what someone says.
• That the other player will show up or follow through.

Inspect cards yourself before trading, meet in a public part of the venue, and use your own judgement. Trade at your own risk.

Accounts and invite requests

Sign up with your own email address and give accurate information. Do not submit other people’s details, and do not use automated tools to create accounts or send requests. We may remove accounts or requests that look like spam or abuse, and we may close an account that breaks these terms.

Messages you send to other players through cardflare must stay about trading cards and stay civil. We can end a conversation or an account over harassment or scams.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not use it to harass anyone or to break the law or a venue’s rules.

Trading card game trademarks

One Piece Card Game and all other trading card game names, logos, card names and card images are the property of their respective owners. cardflare is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading card game publisher. Card names are used only to identify cards.

Our content

The cardflare name, logo and site content belong to cardflare. Please do not reuse them without permission.

cardflare Pro

cardflare Pro is an optional monthly subscription that unlocks cosmetic features. In the app it is sold through Apple and billed to your Apple ID. On the website, where offered, it is billed through Stripe to the card you enter. Either way it renews automatically each month at the price shown when you subscribe, until you cancel. Cancel at any time: in your Apple ID subscription settings for an app purchase, or from the Manage billing button on the Pro page for a website purchase. It stays on until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds for app purchases are handled by Apple under its own terms.

Everything you unlock with Pro is a look inside cardflare, not property: it is not transferable, has no cash value, and ends if the subscription lapses or the account is closed.

cardflare Ultra

cardflare Ultra is a monthly subscription for game stores, billed through Stripe to the card you enter when you start it. It begins with a free trial of the length shown when you sign up. The card is not charged during the trial; the first charge lands when the trial ends, and if you cancel before then nothing is charged. After that it renews automatically each month at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel from the Manage billing button in your store console. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and Ultra stays on until then. If a renewal payment fails, Ultra stays on until the end of the period already paid for and stops after that until the payment goes through. We may change the price with notice before you are charged.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings in the app or on the website. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Cancelling a subscription is a separate step: in your Apple settings for Pro bought in the app, or from Manage billing for Pro or Ultra bought on the website. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause or remove features at any time and without notice, and we may update prices for paid tiers with notice before you are charged.

No warranty and limits

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, cardflare is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from a trade you arranged through it.
